A large site with lots to do for everyone, coupled with Croatian good weather and reasonable prices.
Lanternacamp is certainly impressive, there are many activities on offer, two excellent swimming pools and a lovely restaurant with terrace overlooking the delightful crescent shaped bay. For a more lively evening, there is a nightly family disco. The area's premier resort, Porec, is 6 miles away. Exploring Croatia's Istrian coast you will discover a myriad of tiny inlets and sea washed islands, while heading inland will take you back in time to the beautifully unspoilt villages, mountains and lakes of the National Parks or perhaps head to nearby Pula and its spectacular Roman arena.
Around and about
Porec is steeped in culture with many wonderful buildings. Euphrasius's Basilica the most revered monument, but there are also many Romanesque houses, towers, temples, museums and galleries. You are also just 30 minutes' drive from beautiful Rovinj, while Pula, featuring the biggest amphitheatre outside Italy, is just an hour away. Soak up the atmosphere in Novigrad with its excellent nightlife and restaurants.
